MANUEL ROJAS, 96, passed away in his residence on
April 26, 2001.
He was a longtime resident of Smeltertown and had worked for El
Paso Brick Company for over 50 years. Mr. Rojas was preceded in death by his
sister, Esther Rojas and his nephew, Alejandro Veliz who both passed away in
1996.
He was married for 67 years to his loving wife Candelaria D. Rojas. He
was also survived by his sons, Raul (Elvira), Guillermo (Maria), Robert (Maria)
and Leopoldo Rojas. Daughters, Bertha Solis (Enrique), Beatriz Lopez (Jose) and
Delia Rojas.
Grandchildren, Daniel, Martha, Yolanda, Eduardo, Enrique, Aredo,
Bertha, Beatriz, Jose, Diana, Raul, Jr., Nora, Lorraine, Robert, David,
Michael, Diana, Lizette, Patricia, Yvette and Robert.
Thirty great-grandchildren
and 12 great-great- grandchildren. Niece, Rebecca Delgado. Nephews, Robert
Veliz, Arturo Veliz and Marcelino Fierro.
Visitation will be held on Friday,
April 27 at San Jose Funeral Home from 3 PM to 8 PM with Rosary beginning at
6:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church at 9
AM. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley. Pallbearers: Danny
Solis, Raul Rojas, Jr., Robert Rojas, Michael Rojas, Aredo Solis, Michael
Dominguez and Robert Rojas, Jr.
