Ramona Montoya Rodriguez, Our beautiful mother was called home January 25th. She was born and raised in Smeltertown, Texas. She was born on April 24, 1920. Waiting for her in Heaven are her husband, Silverio, her parents, Catalina and Martin Montoya, sister, Josefina Robles and her brothers, Humberto and Isidro Montoya. Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Silverio, Martin, Jesus, Ricardo, Arturo, her daughters, Rosalia, Teresa, Ramona, Catalina and Dolores. 31 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Lots of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Our mother was loved by many and she will be deeply missed. Though we are left with a void in our hearts, we believe that she is in a better place, where she will continue watching over her family. Rest in peace "Ama" your mission here has been accomplished. We all love you. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 pm, Friday, January 28, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home-West with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
