Corina Garcia Pino, 88, born February 24, 1920 in Mexico a lifetime resident of El Paso, peacefully passed on to our Lord on October 1, 2008, at the Monte Vista Healthcare Center. Corina retired from El Paso ISD after more than thirty years of dedicated service to staff and students at Jefferson High School, and E.B. Jones, Roberts, Lamar and Vilas Elementary Schools. After her retirement she volunteered with the El Paso Police Department for many years. Corina will join her husband, Faustino Pino,Sr. She is survived by her devoted son Faustino Pino, Jr. and his wife Barbara, her loving grandchildren and her adorable great grandchildren. Corina is also survived by her sister Herlinda Mellado and her brother Edmundo Garcia and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held 9:30 a.m. Monday October 6, 2008 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The family would like to extend a very sincere thank you to Dr. Branch Craige, the loving staff at Monte Vista Healthcare Center and Hospice of El Paso.
