Dear Mary, this is a wonderfull thing you are doing to help me much as it's possible to do so. Well my father-in-law name was" Hilario Olivas," he was born in either Smeltertown or El Paso. His mother's name was "Pasquala Dominquez."( Maternal) grandmother her name was "Rosalia." My father-in-law told me he never knew anything who his grandfather was. My mother-in-law her name was "Carmen Licerio" born in Miteros, Sinaloa. Her father was named"Luis Licerio," her mother "Juana or (Juanita) Mejia," On her fathers side her grandmothers name was " Marcelina Rameriz." Was not aware of her grandfathers first name. Her grandmothers name( from her mother ) was" Teodora Reyes," grandfathers name was"Casimiro Ortiz." She was previously married in Mex. Her married name was" Matron" had 2 daughters named Lupe and Irene. My mother -in-law was born in a place named "Hacienda de Los Muleros" in Miteros ,Mex. When she married my father-in-law they had 5 children born in El Paso. My husbands birth records came from El Paso, probley all records are recorded there? Those born there are named Pasquala, Rita, Juanita, Dolores and my husband Juan Jose. Pasquala was born I belive she told me in "1919." What a story isn't it. But my mother -in-law we became good friends and she would talk to me about her past.To me I always did like to hear her stories. All this years we belived she was of Apache roots, to find out her daughter Pat recently told us she was from Taramara roots. The other daughters disagree. So that is a puzzle now. Pat told me the Apache(Masquelero) came from her dads side. Well of course this offened them, because they all want to have Spanish bloodlines. We are so mixed now God only knows what we have. I might not have spelled some words right, hope you understand me. I thank you very very much, for helping me. Don't you just get so curious about your life history? We don't gain anything but knowledge of our roots. I love this. Thank you again and hopely something will come from this. By the way we are Catholic.
