LOPEZ It is with great sadness that the family of Rosario Lopez (Rosie) announces her passing on Sunday, March 20, 2011. She was born in Smeltertown, Texas on September 23rd, 1941. She was the daughter of Albino and Carmen Marquez. Rosario will forever be remembered by her loving husband Ruben Lopez of 52 years in marriage and her son Ruben Lopez, Jr. and daughters Maria Elena Lopez, Rosa Maria Sepulveda, Rosa Linda Ramos, Virginia Espinoza, and Annette Herrera. Other survivors include 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, brothers Carlos Marquez and Leonardo Marquez. Visitation in memory of our loving mom Rosario will be on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 5:00-9:00 at Sunset Funeral Home-West with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 pm, Thursday, March 24, 2011 at St. Jude Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Pallbearers: David Lopez, Eddie Reyes, Pete Urbina, Jr., Eric Herrera, Bernie Minjares, Jr, and Joseph Minjares. Honorary Pallbearers: Pedro Urbina and Clay Sepulveda.
