Mike:
My name is Rico De Santos and my son Richard De Santos is the one you
have been e-mailing for a while now. 
 
I had invited you to come down to the annual reunion we have every year
the first weekend in August. I wish you would make it to one of these so that you can
experience the close and warm relationships that exist between the Smeltertown 
ex residents. For the ones who have never attended these reunions, they do not
know what they have missed.
 
These reunions are well advertised by word of mouth and a lot of people
come in from out of town to attend them.

I think I remember who you are because you mentioned that you used to live next to 
the Bustillos family. Next to the Bustillos going towards the highway lived
my aunts and uncles, the De Santos.
 
I knew Victor and Cuate very well as we used to play baseball at the
E.B. Jones playground.
 
Anyway, my son has been forwarding all your e-mails to me and today I
decided I would "speak" directly with you. We still have a group of Smeltertown 
guys who get together to play golf on Saturdays.
And of course we have annual golf tournament where we get to see the guys from out
of town.
