Teresa (Delgado) Nieto, 79, left to be with our Lord on June 14, 2011. A former
resident of Smeltertown Texas, Teresa loved life, music, dancing, singing,
family, family and friend's celebrations, and all of her grandchildren's
events. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Juana J. Delgado,
her son Ramon Nieto Jr., her brothers Jose, Rito and Luis and her sister
Epitasia Delgado. Teresa is survived by her husband of 53 years Ramon Nieto
Sr., her daughter Irma Nieto and son Robert Nieto, the best grandchildren in
the whole wide world Kristin Shaye and Robert Ray Nieto, her brothers
Isabel(Pirata)(Rita) Delgado, Jesus (Aida) Delgado, sisters Maria Elena
(Benjamin) Ontiveros, Antonia Stewart, several uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews
and nieces. Teresa worked in sales and retired from F. W. Woolworth Company and
Woolco Department Store. She attended Cristo Rey Church (Smeltertown), Santa Teresita
(Buena Vista) and Holy Family Parish. Visitation will be held on Monday, June
20, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home (West) with a Vigil at
7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Holy Family
Parish (900 W. Missouri) with Monsignor David Fierro, Reverend Father Roberto
Alvarado and Deacon Fred Rotchford officiating. Interment will follow at Fort
Bliss National Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Robert and Robert Ray Nieto,
Benjamin Ontiveros Jr., Rax Allen Stewart Jr., Justin Allen Stewart, Rito
Delgado, Jim Delgado and Guillermo Cordero. Services entrusted to Martin
