Marco de Anda passed away on March 27, 2010 at the age of 37, in Ft. Collins, Colorado. He was a 1991 graduate of Coronado High School. He graduated from Southwestern University, Georgetown, Texas, and the University of New Mexico, School Of Law. He also studied Mexican law at Universidad de Guanajuato, Mexico. Marco was a practicing lawyer in the State of Colorado. He dedicated his life to serving the underprivileged. Marco was especially passionate about serving Latinos in need and defending the rights of immigrants. He was a talented musician and an avid sports lover. He is survived by his parents Socorro Brito de Anda, Ismael de Anda Jr., brother Ismael de Anda III, and sister Dorinda de Anda. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home West. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1551 Belvidere. Pallbearers will be Ismael de Anda III, Victor de Anda Jr., Rudy Balquin, Rick Chapa, Robert Elder and Mike Mendez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dorinda de Anda, and Rebeca Brito. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley, 4900 McNutt Rd., Santa Teresa, NM. Services entrusted to Martin Funeral Home West, 128 N. Resler Dr., El Paso, TX 79912.
