Espiridion Castillo

The Lord is my Shepherd psalm 23. Espiridion Castillo (Piri) 80, passed away March 24, 2010. He was born in Los Angeles, CA and was raised in Smeltertown (El Paso, TX). Enlisted into the Army National Guard of TX, 1949 - 1952, U.S. Army 1953 - 1960 and the U.S. Navy Reserve 1962 - 1966. Korean War Veteran, Retired after completing 37 yrs of Civil Service at Fort Bliss. He is survived by his loving wife Guadalupe Castillo. Daughters: Dolores Castillo, Sarah Lightbourn and husband, Frank. Sons: George Castillo, Alejandro Castillo and wife Jeanette. Grandchildren: Natalie Rodriguez, Erin and Jacob Lightbourn. Visitation: Sunday, March 28, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Rosary at 7:30 p.m., both at Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79903 (915) 566-3955. Mass: Monday, March 29, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 519 S. Latta Street. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
