Hello Mike, I have many pleasant memories of SMELTERTOWN. I was an altar boy at the local church and carried the standards up to CRISTO REY for special occasions, caddied at the country club, picked cotton, attended EB JONES, left in 1944 and returned more than once.. Boot camp at Fort Bliss allowed me to touch base with a lot of people that I lost touch with.. We owned and ran the MOLINO up to 1944 and sold it to move to California..
