I'm a second generation Burciaga. My mother Catalina Torres Burciaga was born in Smelter Town near El Paso. My father was Francisco Burciaga, who I have little information. He had a sister by the name of Maria Burciaga, who lived in Anapra Tx. My father died a long time ago, I don't know exactly when. What I do know is that he was reared up by his uncle Felis Burciaga out Juarez. I remember cousins maybe third cousin relation, from Juarez. Rodolfo Burciaga maybe. My familia lived around the Rio Grande, a place called Vinton or the Prices Dariry Farm. My brothers are oldest Manuel Burciaga, Victor, Rosa (sister), Armando and Raul. I'm trying to trace any knowledge into my fathers roots. The family has a gift of music which we believe comes from my father. My father died in the 50's and my mother in 1970.
