Hi my name is Morima Alvarado “Pascale”.  The reason I was e-mailing you was because I have family roots that were also begun here.  My father Anselmo “Chemo” Alvarado lived in Smeltertown and also attended E.B. Jones.  My mother Margarita Martinez “Alvarado”, also attended E.B. Jones.  I have heard a lot of Smeltertown, but of course there isn’t much to see anymore.  I would love to be able to get you in contact with my father.  Maybe you already know each other, I wouldn’t doubt it. 

He attends the annual reunion that they hold in El Paso for past residents of Smeltertown.  Would love to hear from you.
