The purpose of this site is to create a repository of everything that links our families to each other. Stories, pictures and whatnot that I hope will bind us to our forefathers and help us understand what it took to make us the family we are today. I hope that future generations that come out of our family will accept the people that come into our family as we were accepted over the years. All persons coming into our family have a place reserved here. This puzzle is far from complete at this stage and I hope that everyone sees the need to provide their unique input to our site. I hope this site is never complete because it will mean that our family is still growing and staying in touch. I was raised in Smeltertown, Texas. The town is now gone along with my second family of friends. Contact with many of my direct family and the people from my youth all but disappeared. With the dispersion of the family to all parts of the U.S., many people from other countries along with their unique culture, religion, and zeal for life have come INTO the family.
